600 Hectareas Fishing Vacations

We are a family of 4 adults, We stayed 2 nights at the Gran Melia. We are very glad we chose to stay here. Gran Melia is located within the Argentina Iguazu National Park. It is 5 Star Resort in every way. Trails to see Iguazu Waterfalls within 5 minutes walk on paved path from the hotel. Upper trails takes you for close look from above the falls. From the lower trail you will see the same falls head-on. It has a elegant restaurant with full breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also 3 bars. We saw many monkeys and some exotic birds. Rooms were spacious and very clean.

A clean and spacious room. Enjoyed a nutritious breakfast at the breakfast buffet with a lovely view. Very helpful and English speaking staff.

Room was clean and tidy.Staff were very helpful and friendly,breakfast was good.

The property needs urgent restoration. The sheets were dirty. We found other people’s hair in the bed. The carpet were like 30 years old and . Even the towers were old thin, and one was even not well washed . The air condition was very weak and the control didn’t work him so we asked for a new control which was not working. Neither The air condition unit itself seemed to be out of a museum. Staff was extraordinary friendly. The breakfast was poor again. Staff was extraordinary friend friendly. Here you can clearly feel that the owner doesn’t want to have more investments and it’s just feeding on the attractiveness of the waterfalls of people who anyway just come once. This kind of experience is a really bad, not for the property because they will always have people coming, but for the the province and the country itself.

Very unique experience. Cabins and "birdhouses" spread between the trees with access on elevated boardwalks. Clean, quiet (except chirping birds), View of 3 countries from our room. Helpful staff. And a restaurant as unique as our room, with fresh food and excellent service. My wife appreciated the Spa service. I highly recommend this facility.
