Ellen is a lovely hotel in a very good Kensington location, 2 minute walk from Earl’s Court tube. The staff are so accommodating - particularly Petrolena and Shiek - we never had a wish unfulfilled. The beds are comfy. Nice coffee maker in room. Great pillows. The only thing lacking was the onsite restaurant. The staff were great but the food was meh.

The staff, the staff, the staff. Premier location, an exceptionally elegant facility, but its superiority nonetheless began and ended with the staff. In years of travel we have never been so welcomed and well-cared for as here. We planned a rigorous quick-hit visit to London (my wife’s first) before traveling on. At the end of each busy day we found ourselves eagerly looking forward to returning to the Executive Lounge.

Many of the rooms have no windows to the outside, they just open into an indoor conference room, this is not clear on the website. The rooms are very warm even with the AC on full. The shower in our room had a frosted glass wall into the bedroom, okay for a couple but may not be if you are travelling with your mother. The coffee shop at the hotel is no longer open, there is only the breakfast buffet which is £22pp, however there are lots of coffee shops in the area. Overall it suited our needs but did not meet our expectations.

Very handy airport stop over hotel , clean rooms , everything you need, and generous sized ensuite bathroom , really enjoyed the food restaurant and bar area in the evening while unwinding with sports channels to watch , good selection of beverages and evan a handy shop, My only downside is that sometimes noise levels in the corridors effected by people coming and going but it's an airport hotel so is understandable , otherwise very happy sleeper 😊😊👍👍
