From check-in to check-out, the hotel was amazing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we had was an upgrade, it was very comfortable.

Room was incredibly clean, quiet, spacious, we had the best time. The location is perfect, and the staff was very helpful. Would absolutely stay here again. Also, go to the Victoria for a pint while you’re at the hotel, can’t beat it.

We had a nice stay at The Franklin. Our only real complaint was that the room, a Garden Suite, looked nothing like what is advertised either on Expedia or the hotel's website. The room was nice, it just didn't look anything like what were expecting. The overall service at the hotel was excellent.

On first appearance the entrance & lobby were lovely. Check in was simple. However, our room wasn't great. The smell in the room was awful, bad sewerage smell. The whole floor had the smell. We mentioned this to reception & they just said thanks for letting them know. If we had been staying more than one night we would have asked for a different room. The location was good however and even though we we overlooked the road there was little noise. Such a shame about the smell, they seriously need an overhaul of their plumbing.
