The Brecks Beach Vacations

Breakfast in the morning was very busy. One morning we were not able to get breakfast before we headed out because the line waiting for seating was so long. Also, another morning they were out of several food items like yogurt, fruit, sour dough bread. It seems like they need more seating available. Other than that our stay was great and the staff was very helpful.

Clean modern room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good location right next to train station. Buffet breakfast was very good. Would recommend if you want to stay in the area. Great staff. Good size rooms. No gym. Easy check in and check out.

Overall really pleased with our stay. We’ve stayed here a few times and always enjoyed it. Overall staff and hotel are excellent. My only issue this time round is that I paid for our stay through Expedia early October when booking. On checkout last Friday 30th Sea Containers have then charged us full price again. I’ve spoken to 4 separate front desk staff to get this resolved as I’ve now had to pay this again off my credit card and on all 4 occasions no-one has resolved this or called me back when they said they would. I’ll open a charge dispute with them now as this is frankly terrible of the hotel and their desk staff.

There was a deposit to be taken upon arrival which we were not made aware of when booking. The room was so small for the amount you pay, and we stayed two nights. The tv did not even have Netflix or anything, which one would expect when paying so much and in such a modern hotel. Good thing we took our PlayStation and connected it. Clean and modern, however, definitely would not stay again even if it were much cheaper and closer to everything.

The room was clean. They gave new towels when asked they were brought to our room. Breakfast included alot of bread, eggs, instant oatmeal, bacon etc. I enjoyed it. We were there for the 7pm wine, cheese, crackers etc.. that was nice. I got all the coffee and hot chocolate I wanted. I really enjoyed staying here and it's close to the train station and sights. I would definitely stay here again. Staff was pleasant.

Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly, would recommend
