Costa Smeralda Beach Vacations

We had originally booked a room with pool views, but upon arrival we were delighted with a free upgrade to a beautiful apartment since it was available. Such a wonderful gesture that made our stay even more special! We truly enjoyed every moment of our time at the hotel. The staff were always kind and attentive, helping us with information about tours and local restaurants, which made our experience even better. Breakfast was exceptional, with delicious homemade cakes and a great variety of tasty options each morning. The location is perfect, and the views from the terrace are simply breathtaking. On top of that, the hotel offers free parking, which is a great plus. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend this place!

Nice hotel, good sized rooms. Unfortunately some of its facilities were not operational such as the beach club, second (beachfront) restaurant). Air conditioning in the room did not work. Staff seemed functional but not particularly welcoming. Perhaps they felt it was the end of the season. Maybe they should fully function and then close rather than stay half open.

Junior Suite Terrace superb and worth a little extra For view alone

Beautiful part of Sardinia; the public beaches around are gorgeous and pristine; the staff at Aethos are really excellent; the restaurant is good. Sophisticated, great for couples and yet also child friendly without being overrun by children.

Beautiful hotel with stunning grounds, pools and beach. We chose to swim at the beach, such a lovely setting, and the sea was warm. The pools appeared to be unheated. The rooms were quite tired for a 5 star hotel, but our garden view room was comfortable, quiet and not overlooked. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. The half board option was excellent value and the evening meal choice, with waiter service, fabulous. The only thing that let the hotel down was breakfast, which was very limited for a hotel of this size. The standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, plus cold meats and cheese, and lots of cake! The smoked salmon was very good though... Reception staff were efficient and friendly, and kindly helped us with a couple of issues during our stay. We took advantage of the useful free shuttle into Porto Cervo one day, a 2 hour visit was probably all that was needed, although we stayed longer. Plenty of parking in the hotel grounds and the road outside. We thoroughly enjoyed out three nights at the hotel, thank you Colonna Resort!
