Parking can be limited. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Our biggest issue was the smell of sewer in 2 of the 1st floor rooms. Rooms are fairly small but functional. Good location. Hotel it self is lovely and clean. Staff was somewhat unresponsive to our issues.

We were the first ones for breakfast one morning and saw many flies sitting on the fruits at the counter. We brought this to the attention of the staff. The hotel location is the best, easily accessible and well maintained. However the rooms are poorly designed and extremely inconvenient. 1. The bathroom sink area has no room except for sink. Even a toothpaste cannot be kept. Everything needs to be kept outside the bathroom. 2. The lighting in bathroom Is extremely dim and useless for using the mirror. Putting in my contact lenses was difficult. There is NO mirror outside the bathroom. 3. The lights in the room are dim and spread all over. Very difficult to find switches. 4. The area upon entering the room around coffee maker and storage has NO light. A dim light comes on only when you take out the keys to leave the room. In total, extremely disappointed with the inconvenience caused. Even a basic hotel has better amenities and one would expect better for paying such high prices. We will definitely avoid this.

Always a pleasure to return. The property is in need of a sympathetic renovation, but the unique character and wonderful staff make all the difference to special hotel and unique location.
