9/10 Wonderful! (1,002 reviews)
Hotel La Scaletta exceeded our expectations! Everything about the property - location, amenities, breakfast, room, and helpful staff - was excellent. I had stayed in the hotel (and loved it) decades before but it has ascended from a pensione to a true hotel. I hope to return one day!

Florence is a walkable city for most (uneven surfaces) making this a great location. It’s a 7 - 10 minute walk (depending on luggage) from the train station.
Great rooftop pool with great views and service. The Club sandwich is among the best we have ever had. Sunset in the pool was amazing too.
Breakfast was exceptional with great selection and great coffee !

We couldn’t have had a more enjoyable day at this fabulous hotel.
The staff responded to our every whim and even anticipated some!
And its location right in the center of historic Florence cannot be beat.
We will be back again!
