Great stay at Lanou Hotel in Beijing! The location is fantastic—close to many popular attractions, which made sightseeing so easy. The front desk staff were super friendly and check-in was very efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. As a business traveler, I really appreciated the smooth experience. Hotel rooms is spacious and location is good with shopping malls nearby (Joy city) with good variety of dining options and PopMart. Hotel is rather old, breakfast spread is very limited. Reception staff can be more friendly and helpful- most of them we encountered for our 6 days stay are gloomy looking. Swimming pool smaller than in pictures. Not near to Tiananmen nor forbidden city. Would recommend if prices are reasonable.
