Oh my what can I say about my stay. Mr. Sup and his family were extremely hospitable. When I tell you that they are welcoming and friendly, it’s the truth. The rooms were clean and the bed so soft. There is security at the hotel. If you’re in Egypt this is a nice place to stay. Mr.Sup, again thank you for the genuine hospitality! If you need a guide and/or driver, he is able to assist you with it.

Airport transfer to hotel with Ahmed was excellent. He was so informative, it was like being with a tour guide. Hotel is small and on a very busy, noisy, dirty main road. All the staff were lovely and thank you to Mido for making us feel so welcome. Breakfast is delicious and sitting on the rooftop terrace with a view of the pyramids was amazing. Do not have high expectations of the hotel. It is small and in need of redecorating, just needs repainting everywhere and a few things fixed - like both TVs in our room did not work and our towel rail was hanging off the wall. But the rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. We used the provided ear plugs, to block out the constant noise of the beeping traffic, which you hear all over Cairo, and we all slept really well. Air con was great. Note that there is no lift, so my 81 year old mother had to climb the flights of stairs to the third floor each time. It was ok for us. I would recommend this place for the breakfast, the staff and the beautiful view. If you want luxury, go elsewhere and pay more money.

The staff at Horizon Pyramids is so very warm, welcoming, and helpful. We had a wonderful stay in Giza with our two children thanks to the hospitality and friendliness of both Temo and Adel. Thank you for helping create such a lovely experience for our first trip to Egypt.

Please don’t stay here. The rooms are incredibly noisy. There is a busy road that you don’t see in the pictures with cars honking all night long. The rooms are tried and need updating. The air conditioning is fine in the bedrooms, but not in the bathrooms. The WiFi basically is non existent. However, the worst part is the people. They will offer all kinds of services, from airport transfer, to tours. Trust nothing. Get everything in writing. They will promise you everything, but deliver very little. They will massively up-charge you on transfers, and provide overpriced tours with a guide that takes you to places he knows only to try and give them extra business. They see everyone as a dollar sign, so don’t be fooled. The smiling friendliness masks the sneaky, manipulative ways they will try to get money from you any way they can. My best advice is stay elsewhere and book every tour with a reputable company, with an itinerary and price in writing.

This beautiful boutique hotel is nestled at the foot of the Giza pyramid plateau providing a gorgeous view of the pyramids from the rooftop terrace as well as a room with the view. The charming and peaceful atmosphere coupled by the proprietor Mr.Ahmed and his staff provided a gracious and hospitable stay. They went above and beyond to provide unparalleled service making sure to really personalize my stay. This included a dance party on the morning of my birthday with the staff members on the terrace, afternoon conversations while viewing a gorgeous sunset, also rooftop ( the sofa was my favorite spot) In addition I met a business man from Dubai in the lobby who stays there every time he comes to Giza weather business or vacation. With many options in the city that’s quite the compliment. I recommend this little jewel of a hotel it’s a must stay while visiting Cairo.

The host at the rooftop is excellent. The guy (Muhammed) working the late evening front desk shift until the morning is very helpful, speaks good English, and overall honest. The girl working the front desk is a liar very dishonest. My dining bill was 1887 egyptian pounds (I gave the host a tip on the table) and decided on her own to round up my tab. I paid it because she said she had no change. When I paid my taxi to the airport again they had no change so I did not accommodate her scheme. I gave a tip to the taxi driver directly. The only reason I'd advise not to stay here again is because it's 22 minutes away from the new museum and about 25 minutes away from Sphinx. 45 minutes from the Airport with no food options within walking distance. We tried walking to a corner store and restaurant but the side streets were dirt and no one could understand us on how to reach the restaurant. The alleys had been bricked off where the map thought it was a road to pass through.

Accomadation was nice a wee bit of muck tup first night re two rooms but sorted the next day.staff excellent sorted problem as quick as they could as we arrive early hours in morning
