Property is old with some recent spotty updates like espresso coffee machines in the lobby. Only one of two elevators was working which caused crowding and waits. Our room had an old, small bathroom with failed grout. The small kitchen was useful only as an extra sink and counter space. There were two flat screens which were not necessary. One covered the only space for a a suitcase. Everything worked. Price was economy but this is definitely not a four-star hotel.

We were welcomed by Emily at Front of House who was so helpful. She gave us great recommendations and really made us welcome.
My only disappointment was due to booking through Expedia only 1 breakfast was included whereas if we had booked direct both guests would receive breakfast.
Otherwise the stay was ideal.
The area is great, 10 minute walk to most places, circular quay, the rocks, old sydney, the shopping area in Pitt Street.

The pool and hot tub are a lovely addition to the property.
Parking is a problem. I don’t like having to pay $45 for hotel parking. That’s ridiculous. It would have been $90 just in parking. I was fortunate enough to get street parking this weekend. Otherwise there’s a Wilson lot opp the hotel.
