We love the view from our room, also the room was very nice and spacious. Very close to everything and a good restaurant at the hotel.

Clean room; staff so kind

Hotel is tired and a little tawdry. Entry feels disappointing and unwelcoming, furniture old, rooms are dated, and those little amenities like coffee in the morning in the lobby or a wine hour at night are missing. towels were frayed, ceiling peeling in the bathroom, mold growing in the corners, furniture chipped, Staff is well meaning but poorly trained - looked a little down trodden. Room was big and included both a shower and separate tub which was very nice. Bed decent Gym was excellent though the towel recycle overflowing and mats starting to decompose. Excellent downtown location. Hotel restaurant felt unwelcoming and drinks were on the expensive end. We used the woodlark across the street for breakfast and coffee and evening drinks as it is a more pleasant space in which to spend time. there are SO many boutique hotels in Portland from which to choose…this one is just sort of sad. Will not return.
