Kintyre Adventure Vacations

I work away from home for 11 months of the year so stay in a few hotels. This hotel ranks as one of the best. The cleaners were exceptional, couldnt believe they cleaned the room everyday. All the staff whom i spoke to were very polite. Area excellent and I wouldnt hesitate to take the family with me. Works have a limit for my expenses so can only stay when there are offers. The only reason I didn't mark full stars was the front desk tried to cheat us out of the room we paid for. Gave a room well below what was reserved and tried to rename a king bed room a "petite king" so he could pass off a double bed room as a king! Nope, not having it. Called him out, stood my ground, and got the king room we paid for. Take a picture of the room you chose to reserved before reserving so you know and can show exactly what you paid for. Other than that the restaurant and bar staff was amazing!! Also very close to airport so I recommend staying here the night before your flight to make it easier.

Very unique beautiful old hotel made up of several converted homes. We were in the Chateau Bauduc Suite which was very large with a very comfortable bed and a separate door that opened up to a beautiful courtyard. The service was excellent and the food was great. There is no air conditioning and our windows opened up to a public space so it was uncomfortably warm until the public space cleared out and we could open the door and all of the windows. The shower had trouble draining but not a huge issue. We had mixed feelings about this hotel but overall enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it in cooler weather.

Great place in Glasgow!!
