Charming hotel and great location in the heart of old Munich. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, lovely staff and we really enjoyed our atay here

When I arrived early, the friendly staff greeted me and I was given a room within minutes. The room was beautifully set up and sparkling clean. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with various options of hot and cold foods. Meat, eggs, German bread and Brötchen along with cheeses were laid out nicely. There were fruits, vegetables, cereals, coffee, tea, juices...the works! The bar is cozy, the gym and sauna are clean. The hotel is next to public transportation and the area is safe and walkable.

The spa staff does not enforce the rules of the spa at all. The sauna says plainly on the sign nude area no clothes, some people continue to wear swimsuits making it awkward for the people obeying the rules. I complained 3 times and nothing was done about it. My wife and I will no longer stay at a Sofitel, we will try someone new.

Top class hotel in the centre of Munich old town. Room and facilities were both fantastic and the staff made a real effort to go above and beyond.

Hotel Hauser is in a great location when visiting Munich. Located on the border of the Maxvorstadt and Schwabing neighborhoods, there are a lot of great cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, etc. within walking distance. It’s also near transit options, very walkable to Alstadt and the main Munich attractions (a pleasant 15 minute walk), as well as the English Garden (10 minute walk). It is a vibrant neighborhood with a lot of college age folks around, so it tends to be louder in the evenings, but not too bad. The rooms are on the small side, but they’re just right if you’re mainly looking for a room to store your bags and sleep. The shower in our room was very tiny, but manageable. We did not have the breakfast buffet, but it looked and smelled good. The staff was helpful and courteous. The only real negative were the pillows. They weren’t soft or firm, and were an odd shape that you could never quite get comfortable with.

It was a great surprise. I needed a place for one night and I found a diamond in the roof. The receptionist was amazing, super helpful and very, very nice. She answered questions. She told me about places that I needed to find in the town. The room was actually five stars as far as I’m concerned. Very clean a living area with a bedroom. It was perfect A+ on this hotel in Unterhaching.
