"Very friendly helpful staff always on hand. The hotel was in a great location for my needs and the room and bathroom I was allocated was excellent.

"We used this Hotel as a stop over for one night on our travels around Europe. We are British, they spoke perfect English and made us feel welcome. The rooms and en suits were large with a safe, hairdryer etc everything that top hotels offer. Reserved us a table at the best restaurant on the lake which was some of the best food and wine ever tasted. The breakfast was great at the hotel so all together one of our best stops. "We had an amazing time here! Stefano is the absolute greatest at taking care of travel details- we arrived at 1am from our flight and there was a crib set up with cute little blankets and a pillow for our toddler. He texted us before we arrived through the What's App to help us check in virtually. He also recommended many amazing restaurants for us and placed a takeout order for us one night since our Italian is non bueno! This was also a fantastic stay for the price. Cannot recommend this place...

"This property is so beautiful and the food at the resturant was fantastic. Our only complaint was the spa, the sauna was great, but the hottub was lukewarm and there was so much chlorine it made our eyes burn and we had to get out almost immediately.

"This was a location and villa with private pool of our dreams. It has everything you can want for a traditional Italian experience. The views are beautiful day and night. The villa is spacious inside and out set on a large picturesque plot. If you want rustic, quiet and authentic, this is the place for you. Situated only a few minutes drive from San Feliciano with plenty of activities and restaurants for a typically quiet holiday. The host and his two golden retrievers live upstairs. If you love dogs they will make your holiday complete. We took our dog and she had unlimited access to the land and property. Massimo is a quiet,Kind and private person. He is totally willing to offer help and guidance if you ask him. However If you just want to make the best of everything available and do your own thing he is totally respectful. We would recommend the villa and location to anyone wanting a true experience of Italy. "

"Our time at Villa del Riccio could not have been better. Our host, Lucio, was fantastic, in touch with me frequently from the time of the reservation through our 9-day stay, offering help with everything from side trip planning to questions about the house to offering extra blankets for a cool night. The house is terrific, with ample indoor and outdoor space—two shaded eating patios, a balcony, and gazebo. It is very well equipped, with every cooking convenience, starter condiments, even a pizza oven. And the views—oh, my. Ample outdoor seating was one of many thoughtful extras. It’s a perfect place for a week in the country; you do have to drive to stores and restaurants, but that was part of the fun. We truly hated to leave."

"A wonderful stay on the border or Umbria and Tuscany. Good position within 1hr drive to Siena, Montepulciano etc and within easy reach or the nearby lake for watersports, cycling and loads of options for restaurants at lots of price points. The lake is best swimmable by boat as the lake shore is quite barren and muddy. Depends on your priorities.The house itself is amazing and the back garden one of the best spots for cooking and views we have ever been. Simply stunning inside too with everything you need for a comfortable stay.The hosts are attentive when necessary and have left so much information for local services and town visits, so helpful. "
"Great rest stop on our way to Rome. There is no direct access to the lake (it's about a 2 km walk/drive from the hotel), but the hotel is clean and nice. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the free continental breakfast was wonderful! Great selection of pastries, and two very excellent coffee/cappuccino machines. Overall, a great place to rest, in a quiet, peaceful area."
