「It was our first time staying on a boat, and it was a great experience! The boat is anchored in a calm spot surrounded by nature, yet it’s only a short trip to the bustling Amsterdam city center. Our host Casey was very friendly and helped us settle in right away. We felt very welcome and can warmly recommend this accommodation if you’re up for a little adventure.」

「Ferry (Han's friend/helper) was so kind and welcoming. He helped us carry our bags into the boat and oriented us to living on the boat. He even put some drinks in the fridge to welcome us. He was very responsive to questions. The boat was beautiful. You can see a lot of love went into the craftsmanship. The beds were very comfortable - great mattress toppers meant we slept really well! 「The houseboat was in a great location for us - really easy to get the bus into Amsterdam, but quiet and near to the countryside. The bikes made it easy to see the windmills and explore the nature reserve nearby. Check in was easy and all communication was friendly and helpful. We wanted a good base where we could explore more than just the city. There’s a good supermarket a short walk away, so it was easy for us to self-cater. We loved our stay! 」

「Albert is a wonderful communicator and has taken great care to pay attention to detail. The heated bathroom floors were one of our favorite details, but also the porch is a perfect slice of charm, the milk frother for the coffee is a lovely touch, the hidden tv (with Netflix), a great book of neighborhood suggestions…and the bed was very comfortable and large (which is a rare luxury in the area). We can’t wait to stay again next year.」
