"There was everything to love about the property. We stayed during the week. It was SO peaceful. The grounds are beautiful, stunning! Many areas throughout the property to sit and relax, both inside and outside. The breakfast in the morning was freshly made and very tasty! A nice frittata, one veggie and one with meat, plus fresh fruit, quite yummy! There were only 4 of us, but they had conversation pits that could easily accommodate 8-12 people. The staff was so friendly and showed us everything. The room was large and well-appointed. We walked down to the only close restaurant and had dinner. The market closes at 8 pm If you need anything . We were there at the end of June 2025. The lake is only 0.3 miles away but we didn't go as we were here for only 1 day. We won't make that mistake again! "

A nice place with a stunning view!

"We stayed 2 nights in late June. The property was as advertised; no issues. Great views of Donner Lake, but the water is still frigid in late June, so we only dipped our toes in. It is a short drive to the restaurants and shopping in Truckee. Not very far to the north shore of Lake Tahoe either. Overall, we had a good stay. "

"Perfect house and location for our summer trip! The house was perfect for 8 couples and had plenty of spaces to hangout. We were able to access hiking and biking trails from the front door and saw deer, bears, and all the birds! Really fun stay!"

Lakefront Cabin with private pier on Donner Lake

"Having a private dock was great but this dock was incredible. The house was very well laid out, well stocked, and the owners labeled mostly everything so that it was easy to find. The stairs where challenging (one of the guests counted 50 steps to the main entry) but the view and serenity made it worth it. Several more steps down to the dock but, again, worth it (just be prepared and have your fitness watch ready). Having access to the two car garage was also a plus."
