「A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated.」

「A hidden gem! A beautiful, clean and comfortable cottage right in the middle of the forest, in the heart of nature. Lovely staff and service. They even arranged a last minute safari for me, which was worth it. The restaurant serves organic and fresh meals (veg only) and the view of the lake is spectacular! The host even took us for a walk around the areas and we saw some lovely birds. This place is worth every penny. Highly recommended. 」

「All staff members are so kind and friendly. Every service was perfect and comfortable for me from the checking in to checking out. We booked the hotel very last minutes, but the staff helped me for the meal arrangement and the safari arrangement smoothly so there was no inconvenience and negative comments for the stay! I’d like to come and visit here again. 」

「Very professional staff, incredible location near the entrance to Yala National Park. The staffs English could be improved upon but the staff were very attentive, warm and helpful. The room we had was incredible. Very large with all the amenties you could expect. The small private pool was nice but cold and not really used. The food at the restaurant was well prepared and reasonably priced. They have both an international food and local Sri Lankan menu to choose from. We look forward to...

「Yala Safari Camping is such an incredible & unique experience. The tents are so nice, the staff is beyond incredible. I stayed as a solo female traveler back in December and I felt so safe and taken care of. They help coordinate two safaris for me during my stay. The wifi wasn’t working while I was there so they gave me a hotspot to borrow while I was staying so I could keep up with work calls and emails. 」

「コロンボの空港から直接空港に向かいました。 ホテルについたのは夜中。 国立公園内にあるので水牛や、シカ、うさぎ、クロコダイルなどが道にたくさんいて、 到着するまでの道のりで夜行性の動物が活動しているのがたくさん見れました。 それが一番良かったことです。 ついたのが遅かったから、こちらのホテルのサービスを堪能することなく終わりましたが、 朝ごはんが、私達はモーニングサファリから帰ってきたあと食べれること、昼くらいに戻ることを伝えてから、食事を取れることを確認してから出発したにも関わらず、サファリから戻ってきたら朝食が取れないと言われました。 それが残念なことです。 そのまま朝サファリをしたらチェックアウトしたので全くホテルのサービスは満喫していませんが、レイクビューのプールはさすがといった感じでした。 もしもう一度ヤーラ公園に同じスケジュールで来るなら、サービス受ける時間がないのでホテルをランクダウンするとおもいます。」

「We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. 「Hotel a 3 km de la ville, assez éloigné sans service a proximité. Safari trés cher. J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre. Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout. Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre. 」

The room was really nice and clean with an amazing view of the surroundings. The food was 10/10 with a selection of both local and international options.
