Room was clean & comfortable. Has typical breakfast, but the best breakfast in Yakima is walking distance away - Waffle Cafe.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Our go-to place in Yakima WA.
The team at Hotel Y was lovely. We had a few requests and they did not hesitant to aid us. Beds were comfy, great breakfast selection and handy access to the interstate/hwy. Would definitely stay again.
We were very pleased with everything. The receptionist were friendly and helpful! The room was great, plenty of towels, plenty coffee, sugar etc. Well lit room. Excellent air conditioner. What a breakfast selection!!
When we pulled up we were nervous. It is in an industrial area of Yakima, it’s an old hotel that they have refurbished, I would guess. The room itself was cute. New hard floors, new bathroom vanity. The bed was comfortable and the room seemed very clean. The breakfast was decent. We were pleasantly surprised!
The staff was great the property's great there's lots of things close by however it doesn't seem like they mop their floors cuz my feet were filthy after a shower. So my only suggestion is to start mopping the floors thank you very much for a wonderful stay.
Check in was a breeze, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. We did notice a lot of unhoused people hanging out about half a block from the hotel when we arrived, so that made me feel a little uneasy. During the night someone’s car alarm went off, I thought it was mine and immediately jumped out of bed and went to look. A few other guests were doing the same thing, it lasted for about 10 minutes until it was turned off. There was a lot of sirens throughout the night I woke up to. But thankfully I was able to fall back asleep. Brandon was very nice and helpful. It was overall and good stay besides the noise disturbances.
We like this hotel and have stayed here 4 times now over the years when in Yakima. I like the rooms, beds are comfortable and typically we sleep well.
But the screaming and yelling children (7am) of other guests two of our three nights here has ruined our stay. The pool isn't supposed to be open until 10am. It is 8:50am and they are in the pool outside our room yelling.
