"We really enjoyed our stay, but I have to say it probably won't appeal to the vast majority of Western tourists. We really enjoyed the hot springs, the rooms are clean but basic. The whole hotel honestly is showing its age but still give our stay a five-star and it wasn't a problem for us. But if you are expecting Holiday inn or a Hilton it might be a bit of surprise.     "Nice property, nice people. Right near train station which is good AND bad. You can literally walk there, but the area is in an undeveloped area with nothing but a 7-11 and Family Mart. You'll need some way to get to town center. I'm a biker so I just rode bicycle everywhere. Breakfast is bland as toufu. Same thing every day."
