"The manor is a beautiful historical building. It was amazing to see the every room as it must have looked in the early 1800's! Although breakfast is not provided at this time, there are three kitchens to choose from if you would like to use one while staying there. My stay was a great experience!"

"For reference, I’m a Hilton Gold Member and my opinion of this independent hotel (closest to the Appomattox Surrender Grounds National Park) is that it’s very much on par with a Hampton Inn as far as rooms, decor, amenities and pricing. (But not the cookies) This is my fourth stay here at this hotel and I promise you will not be disappointed."

"Easy access. Strange odor in the common area and slightly into the rooms. Only (3) towels provided for a room that sleeps (4). No towel/rug for the bathroom floor provided which creates a slippery situation - especially with kids! Bugs found in the pull out bed."

Our room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The property has great views and has its own charming vineyard, which is used to produce their own wines..
