We complained about the noise because they had a late night event that really disturbed our sleep and they waived a large fraction of our bill and even actively positioned security to help manage the situation. "Great place, great rooms, great setting. I had one of the higher end rooms and was frustrated by penny pinching measures such as food not being available on location at least during reasonable hours, or ordering breakfast à la carte and paying for it xtra. These seem to be reasonable expectations for a high end, largish resort, and even profitable if done right. The staff is great and they are genuinely pet friendly, although the pet fee was not at least clearly delineated by Orbitz. I actually regret changing hotels mid way through my stay."
