"We had a nice clean room and a beautiful beach view! A few times in the night I heard our bathroom or room door jolt- hard to explain! But it is a VERY historic building! (Wink wink)😂 We were greeted with a glass of rose, which was a lovely touch. It was our anniversary so we even shopped in the gift stores on site. The beach is fluffy sand and crystal clear water and I loved the lounge chairs and umbrellas included! After check out we enjoyed the beach still that day and felt we received more value in that respect. There’s even a changing room and shower by the pool because at that point you don’t have a room, so that was awesome. Overall amazing and we will be back soon!"

"The restaurant, gym and pool were all closed, the driveway was closed making it difficult for Uber drivers to pickup or drop off. This is all due to construction and renovations. I would recommend calling to find out the status of what appears to be major renovations. Even though this is on the river walk there are very few restaurants within walking distance"

"The hotel was okay for the price. The hotel could use some updating. The front counter staff were friendly and accommodating. The wait time for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel was 45 minutes. The driver was extra accommodating that evening when he took us down the street to the store as my wife forgot something for our cruise. The restaurant didn’t have many options and the food was average for the cost."
