American Heritage RV Park is conveniently located, peaceful, and overall as described. The facilities were good, and the grounds appeared well maintained. However, our cabin needed more attention. The floor was dirty, and there were spiderwebs in a couple of corners near the ceiling. The air conditioning unit in the master bedroom wasn’t working, and the built-in microwave was out of service. Fortunately, a small countertop microwave was provided and worked properly. Despite these issues, we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and convenient location. Overall, I would recommend the park, but better cabin cleaning and checking appliances before guests arrive would improve the experience.

We had a lovely stay in the large cabin. I originally thought all the beds were in the same room, but there is a bunk bed in one room and a larger bed in the other room. Everything was very comfortable and the cabin was well stocked with a coffee pot, pots/pans, utensils, and ice tray. We did have to bring our own towels, sheets, and blankets, but that was easily done. The amenities were great: pool was clean and fairly large, mini golf was fun, the arcade had a good assortment of games, there’s a basketball hoop, pickleball court, a playground, a dog park, and the office has a gift shop that’s stocked with several essentials you may need. The communication was top notch, as well. The location is situated about 20 minutes from Busch Gardens and very close to Colonial Williamsburg, too. We were very pleased with our stay here. We’d definitely recommend this place, and we’d love to visit again.

Perfect

My son and I came for a soccer tournament and it was a great place to relax between games. The cabin was quaint but exactly what we needed without the fuss and distractions of a hotel.

Great camping feeling

Visiting family in Williamsburg and stayed here. The Large Cabin was perfect and it’s in a location with woods behind it, so it has a true camping feeling. My kids came to visit and we had a fire, toasted marshmallows and perfect for my bulldog to be at, too.

The cabin was clean, the staff was polite and friendly. This place is a great place to stay. The cabins are very nice and comfortable. I got the large cabin which had a full size refrigerator and small stove top and sink. Stocked with plates, eating and cooking utensils and a coffee maker. It had a small deck overlooking the woods with a small table and chairs. There is a small grill next to the deck. I love the location of this place, is off 64, bursitis tucked away. Quiet and peaceful.
