"Cozy, beautiful, pretty new and well-maintained cabins. Very inviting outdoor seating area with fire pit and grill on the grounds. There is a (very small) grocery store within walking distance. Highly recommend the short drive to Zumbrun Overlook to watch the sunset - it's unforgettable! The cabins are located in a quiet and very small town (although you can hear the highway traffic in the distance). Nice drive to Little Orleans (to get on the C&O Canal towpath). The host was super responsive....

"Very remote location- having a 4WD was helpful. Place was clean- no spiders or webs. The rental company was easy to communicate with. Would have been nice to have a space heater as the available heating is insufficient. Mattresses are a hard foam (some people may prefer this, but I was up all night). Much of the place has been renovated, but more is necessary. My adult daughter enjoyed our one night stay."

They’re far enough from the everyday life but still close enough to enjoy all the beauty of their charming city!! The food is to die for and definitely a reason for us to return!! Nothing bad to say at all except they need larger hot water tanks bc when I’m enjoying my wife that includes sharing a shower that we would have preferred not to be rushed out of!! Otherwise...
