"The property was beautiful, stayed a night in cottage - 24, it has 2 queen beds a comfortable couch and sitting chair , coffee table and 4 chair and table dinette. The cottage has plenty of room, 2 flat screen tvs, heater and air worked great! Nice grounds to walk around and friendly staff. Close to town for restaurants. Excellent choice for a stay in Clearlake !"

"Our room looked like it still needed finishing from light replacement. There were lots of tiny bugs crawling on the floor and tv stand, pretty sure they were baby cockroaches as we did kill a big one crawling up the wall! Also, we did not have any hot water, front desk said that the boiler went out and to wait about 15 mins. We did and the water was still not hot. I asked to move rooms and they gave us a different room to go take showers in but not to relocate permanently. While I went across to the other building to shower, we got a call from the front desk that they would have to relocate as the repair to the boiler would not be fixed until after our stay was over. Sending us to a working room just to shower is not acceptable and not good customer service. Offering to relocate rooms should have been the answer right off the bat!! This will never be an option to stay again. Two sars only because the property was located on the lake with a beautiful lake view"

"The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Vic was so nice and made sure I had anything I needed for my overnight. Conviently located next to the Happy Garden restaurant (Chinese/thai fusion) that was great! Also right across from the harbor for easy access to boating."

"I have stayed at the Skylark whenever I visit Lakeport. The rooms are always clean, beds pretty comfortable and the is staff friendlyand helpful. My only complaint would be the pillows are a bit flat for my liking."

"The room was clean and the bed was absolutely comfortable. It was quiet setting, The pool and hot tub was perfect and the front desk was very pleasant and helpful and they made you feel very welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend for a place of quiet downtime. 💞"

"There were pubic hairs in the shower bottom, along with long curly head hair wrapped around the shower faucet. The room was dark, and I was still able to see that it had been a long time since someone dusted or looked at the top of the curtains. The cobwebs appeared to have been there for a very long time. "

"Our room was on the second floor. My husband is disabled. Came to find out the owner had not maintained the elevator for 4 years because he’s too cheap to apply for inspection it has to be fixed. Room sleeps 3 and the bed had no blankets sheets or pillows. The very kind kitchen prepper( no staff on hand and no WiFi info) got us a blanket that had a bowling ball size hole right in the middle. The all paper was peeling on all walls and corners. Room 205. I had to make four trips up 2 flights with luggage and one with my disabled husband which took 30 minutes. It’s quite a sh— hole. The mini frig fell out of its cubby face down onto the floor. "

"Loved the view and fenced in dock. It was comfortable and great for our dog to get to sit outside safely. If it was not raining, we would have sat outside every chance possible. But we enjoyed the view indoors too! We also loved how little light pollution there was so we cold enjoy the stars at night. Want a quiet and peaceful place to stay? This is the place for you!"
