The Garden City Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel. Classical in style and beautifully maintained. Excellent staff."

Jake's 58 Casino Hotel - Adult Only

8/10 Good

"Overall I had a great time, the restaurant there is very inexpensive, food is very good. I did have two issues involving security, they have about seven people standing at the front door. I had ordered a few items from doordash and one of the items was taking longer than expected. I asked the front desk if the Dasher could leave the item with them and I can collect it at my convenience the hotel staff said no problem. Just as I'm dozing off into a sleep my cell phone rings and it's doordash and they are saying that the security would not let him in. I called the hotel staff and they went and retrieved the item. It Disturbed my sleep I was leaving at 4:00 a.m., not many people were in the lobby. I was Wheeling out my luggage bag to the car, came back for the other bag, this security guy stood directly in front of me blocking my path saying can I help you? Told him I had a room just bringing my bags out to the car showed him my room key, he asked me what room number I was in & what the name was. Soon as he looked it up he seemed annoyed and asked me for my ID, I gave it to him. He tells me if I wanted to leave again I have to make sure I have my ID with me or else he wouldn't let me in. I literally had my ID and room key so I don't know what his problem was, he seemed annoyed and aggressive towards me. Walking out with second bag, guy tells other security guard I have a room here, other security guard says yes I know I saw him before. That guy needs to relax not that serio"

Springhill Suites by Marriott Carle Place Garden City

10/10 Excellent

"Booked on Expedia last minute for 1 night for a double queen bedroom room as that's all i could find available. However, upon arrival, the front desk rep advised a 1 king bedroom was available for 1/2 the price & he'd accommodate a switch! Worked for me! Both leaving& arriving at the premise the other attending front desk rep warmly greeted every patron. Lobby&room were modern & clean. No complaints on that end. Plenty parking. Free breakfast was adequate & not bad--included such choices as coffee, tea,French toast sticks, sausage patties, bagels etc. Location is in a quiet neighborhood close to all sorts of food & entertainment establishments. Would definitely recommend & be back if necessary!"

The Floral Park Motor Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Floral park motor lodge is the best budget hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I was there for an overnight stay on Saturday 11/24 with my sister & my cousin. We stayed in the second building, 3rd floor. The front desk gentleman was courteous & professional. I was pleasantly surprised at how immaculate the room was. There was no carpet in the room, just clean hard flooring, which is a plus in my opinion. The bathroom was pristine with lots of towels, soap & other toiletries. The beds (2) were perfectly made up & the sheets were crisp, clean & white. Plenty of pillows. The hotel was quiet & secure. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re on a budget & need to stay in the area. Thank you Floral Park motor lodge for a worry-free, pleasant stay!"
