"From the moment we checked into the hotel the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. From little touches in the room, to the customer service was excellent. We stayed in the family room (bunk bed) and our kids loved it, it was like having separate rooms. The room was very comfortable and clean and was susprised how spacious it was. Ideal for family city break. Facilities to make tea and coffee which always helps. Nice coffee shop across the street- bit pricey and grocery store handy for those snacks for the room. Less than 10 minutes to Central Station on the tram. The closest tram stop is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel easy access. "

"Was a really nice stay and 12pm checkout was great. Bed was fantastic, so comfy and pillow options in the room. Show had great pressure and the room emmenities were lovely. Reception staff were helpful and friendly and very efficient. Bar staff a bit sour"

"Poppies is a little gem in Noord Amsterdam. Noord is less busy than city central with cute neighborhoods and the shipping area has been revamped into entertainment and dining. Poppies is the perfect location to explore Amsterdam. The staff is excellent and make you feel like family. The cafe has excellent coffee and food for purchase. The rooms are very small, but the beds are very comfy."

"Outstanding facility. Very clean. Very modern. Big room. Comfort beds. About 8 minutes walk to central train station (shortcut via the bridge). Four highly rated restaurants just outside the building. Best hotel in the city center. "

"great location and great bar area. the only complaint is one of the elevators had vomit in it. Things happen when everyone is having fun. we told them about at it at 530am and when we came back at 8am after breakfast before leaving for the airport it was still in the elevator. I would stay again. "
