"We were looking for a quiet and relaxing get-a-way. This was the perfect spot! It is off the beaten path in the foothills. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to the sounds of the creek flowing by and the cicadas singing at night. There isn’t a view of the creek, but the house is in a nice wooded area. It’s not far from town, but takes a little while to get there on the curvy roads. The pretty drive is worth the distance. A neat Apple Orchard was on the way to town with good food and homemade fried pies. The home is new, beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, which is always a plus! The host, Jenna, was very helpful and responsive. "

"My husband, two dogs and I enojoyed a fantastic stay at this very cute modern cabin. The owners have made a lot of upgrades/renovations that make the spaces feel cozy and inviting. They were also very responsive and offered helpful recommendations for dog friendly hiking trails. There were plenty of extra linens, towels and even pillows. They have all the little things you need (including a whole spice rack!) and even travel sized tubes of shampoo, lotion etc. if you forgot to pack something. The photos are spot-on, and we enjoyed the seclusion of being on a very private road with quiet neighbors that you can't see unless you drive down the road a bit.We liked that it was only a 20 min drive to downtown Jasper, 30 minutes to Elijay and lots of great dining options (we are foodies and we found many great restaurants, breweries, wineries and cafes, etc.).The only neutral comment is that if you tend to use the restroom in the middle of the night like I do, and you're staying in the master bedroom (with the only king bed), be aware that the bathroom is down a set of stairs on the opposite end of the house. If you don't mind the trek or are a sound sleeper, you're golden.We did point out a few minor items to the owner after our stay and they were well-received, with reassurances that they had plans in the wings for more improvements and all issues would quickly taken care of. I have no doubt that this place will be an even cuter/more comfortable rental in the months to come."
