"We spent six nights at the Montrose and it was a wonderful hotel. We had great views of WeHo, the area is very quiet and walkable to shops and restaurants. We rented a car for a few days and the valet service was friendly and quick. The staff were friendly, we at in the restaurant a few times. The rooftop pool area was great as well; nice big loungers, the pool itself is very tiny but it was not busy during our stay. The rooms were very spacious, seperate living area and bedroom, large bathroom. Everything was in good condition and we had no problems. This is a great quiet little hotel if you are thinking of visiting LA. We used Montrose as our base and easily drove around or caught Lyft's where we needed to. Highly recommend this hotel for the price and what you get quality of room and quiet neighbourhood."

"The Best Western is a great economy option that is situated on The Strip, The rooms are large and the pool is particularly good, which I understand will be refurbished later in 2025 The pool area is enclosed and surprisingly quiet from the street noise adjacent but we were puzzled to why it will be refurbished because it was in good condition and looked great. The facilities are more business oriented as per the chains hotels, but if you want to stay on The Strip this isn’t important The Free Breakfast is akin to a UK Premier Inns if not a bit more basic The rooms did not all have bath and the toilets did not work that great either The rooms were well looked after but not far off refurbishment and looked a little dated in places The standard room facilities were great with Microwave, coffee machine, large fridge and hairdryer, phone charging station and iron and ironing board The pool had free beach towels which were replaced daily The Free WiFI was top notch and super fast The US TV service was ok with some channels suffering from poor snowy signal The housekeeping staff were great at their jobs During our stay a pipe burst in one of the corridors however it was repaired immediately the next day in a sympathetic manner to the customers The staff were friendly and helpful but not too overbearing. Most of the front desk staff were experienced. Overall we were really happy with our 10 night stay here and would stay again "

"The Charlie ranks at the top of the list of places in which we have stayed. I would describe our Dylan suite as cozy luxury. As soon as entered we immediately felt welcomed and at home! All rooms (bath, bedroom, living room and small kitchen) were immaculate. One of my criteria for a top-notch stay is the quality of the bed and bed linens and it passed with flying colors! Although the kitchen is tiny, it contained a stove, dishwasher and full-size fridge in case you wanted to cook. The walkways, plantings and fountains are magical! As soon as you step in off the street you are transported to a peaceful and enchanting oasis and you feel far removed from the city’s noise and congestion. The Charlie will always be our choice any time we are in the area. "
