「We were delighted to discover the Desert Compass. This little gem is well-maintained, super comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the locale cannot be beat. We parked the car upon arrival, and never had the need to drive. We could walk to shops, museums, restaurants, bars, and grocers with ease. We'll be back!」

「What a lovely casita! Everything was better than advertised! I was welcomed with cold water in the fridge and special treats by the coffee station. The home was clean and beautiful and very comfortable. There were more than enough linens and supplies, but the hosts were readily available if there had been any problems. 「This was a beautiful home with lots of added amenities. We didn't use the kitchen but if we had, we would have had everything we needed to make a lovely meal. We enjoyed our dinners in the quiet backyard with some lovely porch lighting. The neighborhood was busy but not loud. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family.」

「We were only here for a day, but we really enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quite nice and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed all the art on the wall, all of which was made by the host. We even bought one! The view from the backyard was beautiful. We met the host, who was very, very friendly. It was great having covered parking for the night. 「If I could give this place 7 stars, I would! It was adorable and very comfortable. The best bed I’ve slept in on this cross-country trip! Small motel with great renovations. I like being able to drive up to my door. Everything we needed to sleep and continue on. Some complained of street noise but we were in room 9 and it was quiet. 」
