This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed. It has plenty of character. The staff are fantastic, the hotel is spotless. The resturant is very good. Should I return to Wernigerode, I will be staying here.

We really loved this hotel. Convenient walk from where we parked on the street; in a restricted traffic area so you can easily bring your luggage inside. Quick check in and friendly service. Beautiful hotel with elegant finishes. The breakfast was our absolute favorite of the entire trip! We only spent two days and one night in wenigerode but when we visit again I would stay at this hotel.

Arosa is a beautiful Hotel. My problem was that our bed was absolutely terrible. We sank in on both sides and had to sleep on an incline. I complaint the next morning and Lin at the reception assured my that they will fix the problem and I will have a wonderful night. Guess what nothing happened. A service like this was ok in DDR times but not nowadays und especially not for € 250.00 per night. Otherwise the location and the hotel itself is beautiful.

I never normally get hotel breakfast as it's so often a disappointment. But A-rosa gothisches was fantastic. Room was clean and very nicely themed in mediaeval style with thick wooden beams and classy furnishings. Bed was very comfortable, but awkwardly was just two single beds pushed together without even a king mattress topper or king sized sheet to mask the gap. Air conditioner didn't do anything other than move a bit of air around, only time we could cool the room below 25 degrees was opening windows at night, which was very noisy until around midnight. View was nice out the window into the square (although construction on the building next door ruined it a bit that's not the fault of the hotel). Shower door leaked badly as I discovered after flooding the bathroom. Showerhead was on a hose style, an overhead rain style one would be a nice simple improvement that would also minimise water egress out the door. All staff were very polite, many were genuinely nice and helpful. Parking was easy, once you found the hotel. Great location just off a main square of the old town.

Wonderful staff who spoke English or would find someone to help us. Parking ramp right next to the hotel. Hotel right next to the Rathaus and walking distance to beautiful pedestrian area.

When we arrived we were given a ticket to park the car in their own private car park, which was very helpful. The room was spacious and the amenities were well kept and clean. A very good location also, as it was placed in a beautiful part of Wernigerode but also only 10 minutes walk away from 2 of the Harz Railway stations and a mainline station. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Toller Check-in und Check-out. Super Lage – das Hotel liegt direkt am Markt im Zentrum. Die Zimmer sind schön groß und das Bad ist mit einer Badewanne ausgestattet. Bademantel und Hausschuhe waren ebenfalls vorhanden, und die Minibar war inklusive. Der Spa-Bereich ist super groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch das Frühstück war ein Traum – mir persönlich hat wirklich nichts gefehlt.

Der Empfang war nett, das Personal ist freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist zum Teil etwas altmodisch, aber zweckmäßig. Einige Dinge (zb Fahrstuhl) könnten besser instand gesetzt sein. Lage am Marktplatz ist top, hat aber auch seinen Preis. Wellness Bereich mit Whirlpool ist angenehm. Frühstück sehr vielfältig und lecker. Parkhaus verfügbar gegen Gebühr.

Fantastisk oplevelse! Super venligt og hjælpsomt personale og lækre værelser! Fri minibar med sodavand og vand. Spa faciliteter er inkluderet men man skal lige være opmærksom på at tyskerne godt kan lide at være nøgne. Morgenbuffeten var også rigtig god, og igen var servicen fra personalet I top. Beliggende midt på byens markedsplads skråt over for rådhuset. Kan ikke blive meget bedre.
