Best staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in

Lobby is great. Elevators are a mess. Rooms are painted tacky and the staff at 5:30AM could not check me out - email or print the invoice. I had to call again. Lobby is the best part. Everything else is like staying in a motel. No water in the room or at checkin.

Where to start. I don’t normally write reviews but I feel this one is warranted. Upon check in, I was up at the front with one of the ladies for about 20 minutes. I specifically explained I wanted card #1 to be used for the room and fees, and card #2 to be used for the room hold. After swiping each card 3 different times she said it was all set. She also said they cap the hold fees at $300 to give me a peace of mind bc we were staying for 7 nights and those fees can add up nightly! I was very relieved to hear that. Around the 4th day I checked my statement to see over $1100 being held on that card!! When I went back to the front desk, apparently the card that should have been charged for the actual room fee wasn’t on there 😤 not sure why I spent all that time with her, she told me it’s good to go and then that happens which is what I wanted to avoid!! So now have to wait 5-7 days for those to drop off. SMH. The rooms are so small there is little walking space especially if you have luggage! No little end tables or anything to put any of your stuff!! Also our “refrigerator “ didn’t get cold. Apparently they are having ventilation issues. The elevator system is OUTRAGEOUS. Good luck getting one to your floor in a timely manner. Worst system I have ever, ever seen. Then at night people packed in like sardines and it glitches and stops at every single floor. Terrible.
