"Pro: conveniently located. Easy freeway access. Lots of choices for dining within 5min of driving. FREE Parking despite really really tight spots. Con: Room smells really bad, not just from the cleaning detergents but a stench that would not disappear no matter how long you keep the door open."

"The house is definitely country-style, and the inside still needs some work. The owner converted the garage into an apt, so you do see them coming & going throughout your stay.My biggest concern was that the owners' belongings were still throughout the house. Every closet was full of clothes, and several dressers still contained personal items. It made the home feel less like a rental and more like someone was still living there. The upstairs bed located in the hallway area also needs attention. Additionally, I was very disappointed that the pool was not cleaned and did not have water in it. We spent over 2,000 for this stay, and the property did not match the pictures advertised. While the owner offered a late checkout or an extra day, no discount was provided for the issues we experienced. Several of my friends chose to stay in hotels instead because they found the property to feel a bit creepy, which resulted in me spending more money than I anticipated. The owner was very sweet and responsive, which is where my positive comments come from. However, the master bedroom has some privacy concerns. The closet does not have a door, and there is an opening in the wall connecting to another room, making it difficult to use the bathroom comfortably. The closet was also full of belongings, contributed to an uneasy feeling during our stay. Overall, while the owner was kind, the property DIDNT meet our expectations for the price paid, and unfortunately, I do NOT see myself returning"
