"The house is a comfortable beach house with ocean view. Close to a beach access, with a great beach to walk on with our dogs. The beach access is a little steep, and you have to walk across sloping rock and a small stream to get to the beach. The main bedroom is spacious and is upstairs. The second bedroom, with twin beds, is downstairs on the main level. There is no light in that room to turn on with the wall switch, so you have to walk into the room and turn on a bedside lamp for light. The beds were comfortable. There are many personal items (clothing in the closets, toiletries in the bathrooms) which is a little different than many rentals, but the house is clean and well kept. It felt like a home stay. The kitchen is generally well supplied with dishes and cooking pans etc. There's little storage space for groceries so we kept things on the counters and in grocery bags. We managed meals for four adults pretty easily. The fenced yard worked great for having our dogs with us. Overall a good stay. We enjoyed being in Yachats."
