We found it awesome that we had a back door to go out into the pool, and backyard area. We will most definitely stay there again. We have already shared the wonderful time we had staying there.
Nice clean and affordable place we had a great view from our room as well!

The public spaces were pretty clean and tidy. The dining room waitstaff were very accommodating, but the front desk clerk was a bit less than friendly and engaging. Our bathroom, while very clean, was not fully supplied with necessities. The location was beautiful! The outdoor fire pits were an especially nice added touch.

The room was very clean. If you get a water view its outstanding. The rest is parking lot. Really like the on-site restaurant and bar. Word is new ownership took over everything just a couple of months ago and they have a ton of work to do. Eventually its gonna have a better appeal. Front desk staff and restaurant and bar were really helpful.
The rooms were nice and clean, bed super comfy. Might need to ask for a second soap bar for the bathroom, but other than that things were great! The staff were super helpful and kind. It was the perfect crash pad for our beach trip!
Such a peaceful stay. I will say, there were a lot of scratches on furniture and an orange spot in tub that makes me think it was not cleaned but I wm very low maintenance so I overlooked it. I booked cuz expedia said they had a pool but their pool is not open. But I had a lovely stay! I got a room with the bay view and I just loved it! No breakfast
Pool was closed. In July. No air conditioning but rooms have ceiling fans. Ours did not work. So we opened the windows. But one had no screen. No breakfast--restaurant doesn't serve breakfast. Dinner at restaurant was good--mostly pasta entrees. No bread served with pasta however. Will look for someplace different next visit to Waldport.
This property is in desperate need of maintenance. Everything was falling apart. Has shag carpet from the 80s still. There were stains on our comforter. One of the more depressing hotels I have stayed in. Also, not sure why they built an outdoor pool on the oregon coast. Is only warm enough to use a couple hours a day 1 month out of the year.
Will be back once an extensive remodel has occurred lol staff was very pleasant!

The room was nice and clean but some things needed fixed for safety. Toilet seat partially broken and despite being very careful it completely broke while I was on it! Also I scraped my ankle 2 times on a sharp price of the bed frame that was sticking out

The property seems really run down, not very clean, small rooms, tiny bathrooms with shower heads that come out of the wall at your chest. Toilet seats are almost coming off. Out in the middle of nowhere, no food delivery, no restaurant, nothing. Feels like you are caught up in the movie, The Shining. Staff was nice but the place is no to the bueno.
The place was really run down on the outside. No working pool or hot tub. I never tried the restaurant because it wasn't open in the morning and closed before returning. On the positive side the room was fairly clean, much better than the outside looked.

This place is under new ownership. Prices are good, but not everything is set up yet (like the restaurant). Give it a few months and it'll probably be excellent.

The room was very clean. Good for the amount you’re spending, but the shower was SCOLDING hot. That is really my only complaint. Other than that would go there again.
The room was clean except for the glass patio door it was really smudgy. The view of the water was nice. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Before I get to the issues I noticed, I would like to mention that I did hear that they just came under new ownership recently. As long as the new owner continues to invest in fixing it up, this place has a lot of potential.
The outdoor recreation area had brown grass and some weeds that have little thorns in them, so if you have kids or dogs make sure that they're wearing shoes when they're out there. The pool was not open and based on other reviews and the way that it looks, it hasn't been open in a long time. The shower kept changing to super hot and then super cold every couple of minutes. I was told that they are working on fixing that problem and they have already put a lot of money into it so I do hope that they can get it worked out soon. During our stay on day 2 our door would not unlock for our keys or the master key even. The staff was super helpful during all of this and they offered to move us to a different room and give us a credit back for the downgrade. Luckily we forgot to lock the glass door so we were able to get in that way and open the door from the inside. Strange enough, after that we had no more problems with the lock during our stay.
Basically this is a really nice place that just got neglected by previous ownership. The staff are great, the place has potential, I look forward to seeing it improve.
I had reserved a room with a patio and a sliding door opening to the pool. But when I got there, the “patio” was more like a wide step, and the pool and hot tub were out of order. I was told I could use the pool at a hotel 10 miles away. Since the rooms had no AC, and we did not have a window—just the sliding door, I requested a move to a different room. This was granted. No AC but at least we had a window and a ceiling fan. (Others in our party had a ceiling fan but it was out of order.) Beds were comfortable. There was a restaurant on site, but it was quite expensive; everything is à la carte so the price listed is only for a dish— not even any bread or anything. They advertised Happy Hour from 3 pm to 9 pm but there didn’t seem to be any difference in drink costs. Dinner service was from 5-9 pm, but there was a large group in there and service took a long time. (They apologized profusely— said the large group was very abnormal, and several people had left because of them— noisy, and slowing service down.) Finally, on the web site, the restaurant was purported to be open for breakfast. But when we checked in, we were told it was only open for breakfast on weekends. (We were checked in Thursday night thru Friday morning, so I guess only Sat and Sun?) So, while our second room was fine, and the Expedia price was reasonable, the website description did not measure up to the facility. On a positive note, there were yard games set up outside in the back overlooking the bay.

There was no hot water, there were spiders behind the door that looked like they had been there a while. They were dead, and my spouse is arachnophobic. Half of the doors didn't work, the pool is still a work in progress and when we originally checked in, ourselves and two other couples had to come back and have door keys reprogrammed. The fire pit and the view were nice amenities. However, no hot water is a big No-No for us. And the room was just okay. As we were told, the hotel is under new ownership and going through major changes. However, my sister mentioned years ago that the pool was not working at that time either. The only bright spot in our state was the kindness of the staff to be honest. My 10-year-old son thought the beds were nice, and slept like a rock. He wanted me to make sure I added that. There is also a pet deposit, make sure you understand that when you choose this hotel. It was $25 extra per night.
Our room was clean and nice.
The listing for this stated a restaurant & pool - well the restaurant was not open during our stay it’s only open Wednesday through Sunday but fortunately there are restaurants nearby kinda sorta close.
The pool was not in service & had a large black tarp over it.
The staff not overly friendly but they got the job done.
Rooms didn’t look like the pictures. Check in process and front desk were helpful.
Rooms are in desperate need of an update.
We were facing the pool and it was green and not cleaned (understandable due to not being open but still).
The furniture was mismatched and cheap.
The bed wasn’t centered in the room and while laying in the bed the tv is to low to watch anything
The first appearance was nice. Nice view of the bay and the bridge, nice appearance on the outside of the hotel. When we entered the room, the carpets obviously had not been vacuumed, the sliding glass door had no screen door (all the other rooms did have one), the room overall seemed dirty. Drawers in the night stand were filthy. We later found out the shower was barely spraying any water out. They didn’t have any other rooms to move us to, and had no one to come fix the shower for us. My husband later got the shower to spray more water, because apparently it was soooo dirty it was not putting water out because of that!!! Gross….
When we tried to shower, the water was barely warm, and then cold….so, we didn’t even have hot water! In addition to that, they advertise that they have a pool, but when we tried to go to the pool, it said it was closed. When we walked out back by the bay, we saw that the pool was absolutely green and disgusting. The whole backside of the hotel shows the true colors of this place. It is barely being maintained, and hanging by a thread. I’m surprised they are still in business. Sad to say, cause the view they have here is stunning.
