"Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in der Residence Lichtenvoorde verbracht. Die Anlage ist ruhig und hat eigentlich alles was man braucht an Infrastruktur. Es ist nur schade, dass der Park nicht groß genug ist für einen Brötchenservice oder ein Restaurant mit Frühstücksangebot.
Allerdings war das Besteck bei Ankunft nicht sauber und man sollte die Silikonfugen im Bad mal erneuern. Das ist ein Aufwand von 1-2 Stunden und alle paar Jahre einfach notwendig. "

"We have stayed here five times in the last three years. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and all different. Dinner was delicious and breakfast absolutely fabulous. As was the very very nice woman serving/managing our breakfast. Late October - mid November the deciduous woodland surrounding the Hotel is absolutely stunning. Best time of the year to go for tree and autumn lovers. Herons clearly love it too! Driving thro' Gelderland is a joy and finding yourself in Kasteel Engelenburg is the icing on the cake- Just lovely! ( and we do not play Golf!) "
