Booked a" Superior" room . Nothing superior about the room at all !!. Curtains hanging off the rail . Curtains were stained and lots of mould on them. No net or blinds so when Curtains opened everyone could see in so zero privacy. Enamel flaking off in bath . Sewage was coming out of toilet all over bathroom floor. The furniture was tired with lots of chips out of the furniture. The man at reception didnt want to know . Told me I didnt book a superior room . I showed him the proof . Was offered a different room but was exactly the same . Was told if I wanted a Superior room , even though thats what I booked and paid for, I would have to pay £90 !!! The building is run down . Carpets in walkways are dirty and smelt of damp, walls and doors need painting . The lift was out of order.. Turns out this hotel is also being used to house the homeless. The only positive was the Indian restaurant next door, the food was stunning. Great food and service in there , though it is a separate business to the hotel. I wouldnt recommend this hotel . There is a travelodge 5 minutes down the road , id stay there

Easy check in and perfect location. Hotel had everything for a night away.

The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. My only concern was a poor WiFi connection which meant the TV didn't work and I couldn't do my work. But minimal impact for a 1 night stay.
