Clean. Modern. Artistic. Great town.

Perhaps it’s European beds but they are very small and shifted uneasily during our stay overnight it was all over the country constant and this is a 4.5 star hotel major chain. Otherwise all else was very good, shuttle to airport and helpful staff. I would stay again though not much close by to walk just an airport stayover.

Second tie staying here on business, and it’s always great. In a lovely area away from the business of Amsterdam. Easy links to AMS via train, train station v close to hotel. Both times my colleague and I have checked in very late because of flight times and it’s never been a problem. If you stay here, do try out the local cafe ‘Lagom’, it’s great!

I had stayed in a Social Hub in Madrid and found it to be an excellent alternative to main stream hotels. The one in Amsterdam was not the case. The location for this hotel is not very good. We were assigned a handicap accessible room without requiring nor requesting one. They did change our room but unfortunately the air conditioning in that room did not work. When I enquired at the desk I was told that none of the rooms had air conditioning because it was illegal in Europe to have AC. This is of course false. The rooms were climate controlled except our room was about 25-28 degrees even though the thermostat was set to 18. They said they would send someone but never did. We survived by opening the window and luckily the fall weather kept the room comfortable for sleeping. We did not spend any daytime hours in the room. Overall, for the money we paid, we could have had a much better hotel room, closer to the city centre and in a safer, more friendlier area. I do not recommend staying at this location.
