This historic home is located in Old Town Alexandria and within two blocks of King Street, with onsite parking for 3 cars. Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, parks, and museums. The house has been modernized; the inside is comfortable and cozy. Fully furnished with amenities to make you feel right at home.

This detached historical house was built in 1870 and is updated to blend the old with the new. Old Town is known for its historic charm and art, and this home combines both. The house is conducive for groups of six, couples, and families with children over the age of ten. Two electric fireplaces provide ambiance and warmth, and the large flat-panel TV is great for movie night. For enjoyment, there are books, board games, and art supplies.

The designer kitchen is stocked with cooking tools for those who love to cook. Entertaining is a breeze; the dining room can seat up to ten people and has serving dishes.

Great location! Everything you need to make great meals!

Walking distance to metro and the wharf. We enjoyed making breakfast and dinner at home and finding great restaurants for lunch! We traveled back and forth to DC each day of our stay.

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood. The parking was a nice benefit (no off street parking required). The home was nicely decorated and remodeled. The owner was very easy to reach and prompt. Great house!

Perfect place for family

We loved the quick drive into DC from this home and coming back each evening to a comfortable house with close proximity to all Alexandria had to offer. So cute!

Excellent Location

Excellent location that is walking distance to King Street and the harbor. The house is unbelievably furnished and functional. The owner is very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home, trendy neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay. The home is beautifully decorated, has all the amenities you'd want, and is in a prime location. We were able to spend the day in DC and then come back and walk to dinner. Grocery store, drug store, etc. were all in walking distance.

Family vacation

We were delayed due to weather and a maintenance issue. Our host was understanding. The location was great with plenty of food and shops near by. The drive way was good when we needed uber to pick us up. We were able to cook and eat around a table on the nights we wanted. We would stay there again.

The PERFECT stay in beautiful Alexandria!

This is, hands-down, the absolute best experience I have ever had at a vacation stay. There is a reason this townhome has a completely 5-star rating: the house, and the owner, are exemplary in every way. From the impeccably-decorated historic home, to the thoughtful gestures by the owner to make sure we had every comfort possible, to the unbeatable location in gorgeous Old Town Alexandria, you can simply not ask for more. Wonderful girls weekend!

We had the best time at Vat’s place! It was exactly as promised and so close to the heart of Old Town— just over a block to King Street. Every need was anticipated and the house was comfortable and cozy! Highly recommend and hope to be back! Also, be sure to check out La Pluma, which just opened on the corner. Amazing! Enjoy!

A perfect place in Old Town

This is the second time we have stayed in this lovely home. The host is wonderful to work with and answers our questions immediately. The home is a blend of history and ultra modern. The parking in the rear is so appreciated. It is so near all the Old Town spots. We love this place!

Great location and home away from home.

We had a wonderful time at Vat's place. The house had a great A/C for the warm days and the location was near the free bus, restaurants and King Street to get on the Metro everyday. Great location to get to DC and back to explore the museums and sites with our children. Also the owner was very responsive, and above and beyond helpful. Thank you for our stay, I would definitely recommend this place!

Old Friends Having Fun

We spent a wonderful long weekend here during Historic Garden Week. The house is cozy and comfortable, attractively decorated and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including off-street parking. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the heart of Old Town Alexandria and Washington, DC is a short ride away by metro or car and you can take a water taxi for a more scenic route.

Wedding Weekend

We were visiting for a family wedding and the house was perfect. The house was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. Being just a block and half from King Street, shops and restaurants were easy to get to by walking. Vat was super responsive. Any time I sent a question, she replied extremely quickly. I would highly recommend this property.

Great Old Town Stay!

We love to make Old Town our “home base” when we visit the DC area. And this historic (but up-to-date) home is the perfect place for a family stay. All the creature comforts both inside and outside to make our stay comfy. The off-street parking is a BIG deal. The communication with management is prompt and helpful. And with a short two block walk to King Street the location is perfect. If it’s available, snap it up! You won’t regret it!

Cute little getaway

We took our daughter and her friend to a concert in DC. This location was perfect. Loved that there was a driveway and private back area to relax, though it was far too hot to enjoy it. The back area could use some TLC, but since it was too hot to really spend much time back there, it didn't impact us. The home pretty much had everything you need. We were able to walk to the metro. Record highs and the a/c worked excellent! We will stay here again!

Great house, Great location in Old town

Beautifully renovated house with everything you might need. Plenty of space for everyone. Close to Metro at the end of King street or easily a short 10-15 min Uber into DC. After spending the day at the Museums and sightseeing it was very pleasant to come back to Old Town and grab dinner or ice cream in a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!

Bucket List stay

Our stay was awesome. Convenient to Airport, DC, & Arlington Cemetery. Also, a cute coffeehouse (soon wine) had just opened up across the street. Very good coffee & breakfast items. King street was very entertaining. We spent cocktail hours & dinners there. Our Host, Vat, was amazing. The house is adorable. Perfect for our family of four. And the parking was most convenient with its own private driveway.

Beautiful home, wonderful location

Our family enjoyed staying in this home in the heart of Alexandria. It was an easy walk to public transportation and a number of great restaurants. Great place to relax and recoup after a busy day of site seeing.
