Unfortunately, we felt it necessary to leave our stay at DC Hostel after only one night, even though we’d booked in for four. The place was in a state of disrepair and had no sense of pride or care. There were numerous broken appliances including the stove. There was no crockery or cutlery and in our room there was an electric cord hanging out of the wall which was dangerous. The bathroom had many broken parts, including the toilet doors, one of the showers and a cracked basin. I also didn’t realise the bathroom was male and female shared and so got a shock when a man had not locked the door and l walked in to him naked about to get in the shower. Having said ask that, the sheets were clean and soft and the pillows were comfortable. Unfortunately there was also no common room which hostels are known for as a way to connect with other travellers.

This propeyhas a very big potential dut to its location BUT it is dirty and doors give noises ehen open snd close.. rooms dirty and restrooms dirty. They jave kitchen but no tables nor chairs where we can eat..

I took a female only room and it was really good. But the only problem is there was no female only restroom. It was a very uncomfortable to use a shared restroom.

They are fraud.We booked for 3 people. They gave us bed for 3 people when we returned after roaming dc we saw that in our seat there was another people and actually they were sold the seat to that guy also. We didn't find any associated authority to inform it. Please solve the issue.

The location was fiting for a vacation syle and with in walking distances of were i was working. The fact that mainly the homeless were constanly around made things more difficult granted those kind of places are more designed for students. However utalizing those all over the contry would help with the issues of the homelessness. I would recommend that staf keep up the good work.

You get what you pay for.. LITERALLY.

Lady who lives there and “works” there was rude and lied on me and another guest. Another Lady almost set the hostel on fire cooking. No hand soap in bathrooms some days.

A true waist of time

What stay, No one answered the door. No one answered the phone. Ones at the Eithiopian restaurant next door told me they had not seen the people running the hostel. Im glad i took the option of paying at site. I even got the exact amount of funds at the amtrack station $32.16 to keep things very professional. They chose not to be professional. I just had a hostel closed down in Dubai. Due to the unprofessionalism by the owner. I let hostelworld offices on Europe know this location is very bias and racist. She verbally told me twice i dont like your kind. I dont use frofantity when talking. I dont talk loud when speaking. My fiancee says im a true Gentelman. So what caused this owner not want to communicate with me. I was 12 minutes early. I stayed 10 minutes past 2 pm. I then sat in the eithiopean restaurant And book a room at the hilton. Hey 5 minutes im booked at the hilton. Hey they know how to communicate. Things are great too. As for this hostel. Call them and ask them. Do they want to be in the hostel business. Renting For all people.not certain people. Because right now i see a place That may or may not want To rent to certain specific races. Of course they,ll deny it. They always do.

A little small

The room was tiny for four people. Luckily we were only two and three (different nights). It’s not too far to walk into the city centre, there’s also a metro and a bus stop that takes you to the centre. There’s a supermarket nearby. Some people staying there had stayed for a long time.

The place was REALLY hard to find. It's not very visible from the street. My roommates were a bit odd, but it was a bed for a cheap price and overall fine. Good location. Near the Metro.

This place was rather noisy. The rooms are very small, locked and with minimal air flow--very moist. It's next to a 7-11 on a somewhat sketchy patch of road.
