"Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. "We loved everything about this place. It's in a fantastic rural setting, and is very comfortable. The apartment is clean, spacious and very well equipped. Outside the gardens are lovely, and there are views of fields and trees on both sides. The host provided lots of interesting information about the local area, and there were walks from the doorstep. This is a great location for exploring the Peak District."

"This hotel is conveniently situated right next to the M6. It has free parking and free (unsecured) WiFi. Check in was quick, welcoming and friendly. There is no lift and very long corridoors, this was a bit of a problem for us as we have resticted mobility. Our room was spacious and very clean with a good bathroom. There was a walk in shower, but it was quite a step up with no grab rail, so again if you have mobility issues, this may be a problem. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The TV was very oddly programmed and took a while to master. The bar and lounge area was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of hot and cold choices available and Alex served, assisted and cleared very efficiently. We were particulary impressed with the breakfast. All in all a good stay and we would return."
