A functional, clean and very comfortable room. Exactly what we needed for the night before an early flight. Check in/out seamless. Second time we’ve used The Bloc and would do so again.

Super friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for me from the Reception Team to the Room Service Staff. Lovely room, comfy beds, fabulous breakfast. I will definitely be back.

This hotel is the goal standard. Management from other hotels should come and visit it. From beginning to end the service engagement with well informed and genuinely welcoming. It’s a very interesting historical setting. When they say they are dog friendly, they genuinely are.

Only small criticism was the room was too hot & even with the window open it was sub-tropical but I am sure this was just a blip & would thoroughly endorse this hotel.
