9/10 Wonderful! (1,166 reviews)
The staff was friendly, inviting, helpful, and professional. The room was spotless, quiet, and the bed was comfortable; pretty much what you’d want in a nice hotel room. The breakfast was surprisingly subpar though. The oatmeal was watery (a fellow guest told me that the previous day the oatmeal was much better), and my wife thought that the scrambled eggs, biscuits, and gravy were all rather flavorless. The coffee I got was warm but not hot; the other machine dispensed hot coffee. The waffle was very tasty. The other improvement we’d suggest would be the pillows. They were thick and really lumpy, in the sense that the filling wasn’t smooth and unnoticeable. Instead, it felt like they were filled with thick cotton balls. We’d never experienced such a thing. We didn’t mention it to the front desk because we returned to the hotel late after an event and were already tired and in bed before we realized how weird the pillows were. All in all we’d stay at the hotel again, but would have a back-up plan for breakfast and maybe bring our own pillows.
