Wonderful Stay with all the amenities

Hoku Hale House was a wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the garage with its workout equipment (peloton, light weights, bench, pull up station), air hockey table, basketball hoop and fooseball. There were plenty of sand toys, beach chairs, coolers, cruiser bikes with helmets for use. The kitchen was well stocked (crock pot and rice cooker were a welcome surprise since many VRBO's dont have either). Rooms were comfortable with adequate linens for everyone. Pool and hot tub temps were very comfortable (with toys!). The only challenge was the neighbors who didn't adhere to the quiet hours of 8-8 (voices travel), but did quiet down by 10pm. The Hilton Pool passes were a welcome treat to break up the day/stay - allowing us to partake in the water slide, wading pool area, but you really don't need to leave the house. Wonderful for intergenerational trips - plenty of games (garage games, board games etc), and a very attentive house manager (e.g. the dishwasher malfunctioned and they sent over a technician the next day). Can't wait to visit again

One of the best places for a getaway

This house was everything a family could ask for. It was well equipped with 2 pack n plays and high chairs for the babies and a kitchen full of utensils for making our own meals. Communication with the host was easy and efficient. They were able to answer all of our questions before and during our stay. This is the place to be for large family/friend gatherings especially with children. Even though it’s not child proof it didn’t take long to put away anything fragile. The pool fence was great and the outdoor showers were a hit with everyone especially the little ones. If we are ever back we will definitely be staying here again.

Picture Perfect

What you see in the pictures is what you get. The house and location are amazing. This house has is fully stocked for all activities thing that you need for a vacation. Heather is great to work with.

Absolutely riveted

Beautiful house. The garage and pool were amazing, but the true highlight was having a STOCKED kitchen that would make some of my chef friends amazed for a VRBO. Eating out on the island is a treat, but nothing beats a home-cooked meal, especially when your local choices of ingredients is not only "exotic" but diverse. Cant wait to come back. Aloha.

Paradise in paradise

This house is amazing. You always wonder if the pictures are an accurate reflection of the property and these were exactly what the property looks like. We had a couple of excursions planned and took advantage of them, however, when they were over, we raced back to the house. The kitchen is a gourmet cook’s delight, the 2 outdoor showers were an enjoyable experience and the backyard and game room had something to offer all age groups. We are already trying to plan when we can return to this beautiful home.

Pineapple Squad

If the date is available for your stay, book it now. The property is absolutely stunning. We call it The Pineapple Resort. This is the best place we have ever gathered as a family, aka Pineapple Squad. We had eight adults and two kids under two years old. The pictures posted on Vrbo are exactly how the property looks. Sometimes, website pictures can be deceiving, but this one is exactly as listed. This house feels like a home. Pros The inside of the house is spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing! Meal time was sometimes chaotic, but the kitchen was large enough to handle several people simultaneously. Everything we needed to cook with, serve, clean up, etc., was at our fingertips. The pool area/backyard is like your own private resort, so we named it The Pineapple Resort. I can't express how we enjoyed the outside area. It is fun during the day, then relaxing at night. The torches and fire pit were my favorites. We really appreciated the screen fence in front of the pool. It gave us peace of mind that the toddlers would not accidentally end up in the pool. Heather is easy to work with. I asked her about a chef to cook one night, and within hours, Chef Justin called me to begin planning the menu. The food was amazing, as was his crew. Heather also helped me arrange Hulu dancers. At the last minute, I realized we needed an extra pack-n-play. I emailed Heather, it was there when I arrived. Check-in & out was easy. Cons: I got nothing

The house was amazing and very comfortable. It was very clean. The pool was wonderful. Heather did a great job on making recommendations for all of our requests. I loved the area where it was located. A short drive to several beaches and several restaurants.

Great place

This is a high quality home. Nice finishes and appliances. Heather, the property manager is very responsive and helpful. The place is as advertised plus lots of pool and beach gear and bikes. 5 star no doubt about it.

Our own private resort

This property was fantastic. It was like staying in our own private resort with a lovely pool and consierge services provided by host Heather that made everything a breeze (car rental, airport service, etc.) The huge home allowed our 3-generation, 8-member family tons of space and privacy, and was well stocked for cooking and fun. The pool is perfect for all age groups with a shallow shelf for the little ones, plenty of swim space, and the relaxing hot tub. No one wanted to leave!

Beautiful home!

This home was lovely on the inside- clean, pretty wood trim, doors and cabinets. The kitchen was great! We like to cook on vacations as a family and the oven and grill were both awesome, in addition to a fully stocked kitchen with other supplies. The host was very responsive, helpful, and friendly! The back yard is wonderful! Lush landscaping and beautiful pool area. The bathroom showers did take a bit of time to warm up, so as long as you have patience and take a reasonable time shower, you’re in good shape. But everything else was literally perfect! When we drove around the island to visit other areas, I had a hard time finding one as nice as this house with such a convenient location to restaurants, shops, groceries, etc. Would stay again!

The Perfect Big Island Home

The location is perfect. Next to Waikoloa put a separate and private development. The home feels like new and is clean, modern and beautifully styled and furnished. It’s very spacious for a family including the Ohana. The property is well maintained with gorgeous trees and plantings. We took a lot of family photos. The pool and hot tub are very well kept. Everything seems new but I think it’s because It is so well maintained. Heather and Sheila were friendly and responsive hosts and helped us figure out the best of everything. We had an incredible time. We will be back.

Perfect Hawaii House

This house was perfect for us. It had a great pool and beautiful backyard. The view was of the golf course. The house was very well appointed and super comfortable with everything we needed, laundry, fridge, beach equipment, sun bathing, outdoor showers and jacuzzi. The host was always available to answer any questions and did a grocery run before we got there. The house was perfectly located near the beach, shopping, market and restaurants. We did a few tours that picked us up at the local market. Everyone had a great time and we would definitely recommend the house.

Beautiful home

We loved everything about this home and can’t wait to come back! Perfect location for exploring the area, and a lovely spot to relax around the pool and hot tub. Very private and peaceful. The home is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay perfect!

Beautiful Home

The pictures don't do this home justice. The home is beautiful. The energy and pool system is close to the casita so it did wake my parents up a couple of times. Heather is a great host. As this is a new rental there are some bugs that need to be sorted out. We had the air conditioning at 68 degrees which then froze the system up, so we had limited ac for a couple of days. So going forward it's a good idea to not have the ac below 70 degrees. Also the fridge in the casita stopped working. We also had a difficult time figuring out how to use the speaker system. I believe that a manual with directions on the home, and Heathers contact phone number and a map of the best beaches etc would be very helpful. The location is really good. Its a 10 min drive to some of the best beaches in Hawaii.

Family Fun

This was the perfect get away for our family to celebrate my husband's milestone birthday! The home is great for many reasons including the private pool and jacuzzi, Peleton, kitchen utensils and full bathroom for every room! You do have to drive to the beach but it is great to have the yard at night just for your group. There is a barbecue, 8 beach chairs and floaties for babies (we left ours and so have other guests). There are beach towels and chairs as well. My only wish was to have a big umbrella to block the sun. There is also a TV in every room and I wish there was instructions for the remotes. You will be extremely happy here!!
