"Posto molto bello, ma andrebbe rinnovato. Soprattutto il costo del soggiorno è troppo elevato per i servizi offerti. Basti considerare che nonostante la tariffa della camera sia molto alta, si paga l’accesso alla piscina. Inoltre manca internet e la pulizia dell’abitazione è ogni 4 giorni. Infine assurdi i prezzi del bar: 16 euro per un pane cunzato minuscolo. In conclusione posto dalle grandi potenzialità. Serve una gestione più attenta. "

La villa presenta ogni tipo di servizio per garantire un soggiorno eccellente e la piscina è la ciliegina sulla torta di una struttura già ottima. I giorni passati in villa sono trascorsi senza monotonia e usufruendo dei molteplici spazi a disposizione. Consigliatissima!!"

In realtà la stanza non aveva l'angolo cottura e l'ho scoperto solo perché ho contattato la struttura dopo aver fatto il pagamento. Arrivata sul posto in stanza l'aria condizionata era guasta e solo dopo qualche lamentela mi hanno portato un pinguino. Io ho fatto solo 2 notti . "Residence molto bello, personale molto cortese e ospitale, ideale per una vacanza con bambini. Consiglierei di attrezzare un po’ di più il bar, non per forza per il pranzo, ma almeno per uno spuntino o un piccolo aperitivo, per il resto davvero Top 👌"

"Die Lage ist sehr gut, besonders der Meerblick von der großen Terrasse. Die Wohnung würde ich trotzdem nicht noch einmal mieten. Das Haus ist ungepflegt und renovierungsbedürftig. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung mit alten Möbeln hat auf den 1. Blick Charme, aber es ist vieles kaputt und nicht funktional. Das Bett ist eine Katastrophe, ein altes wackeliges Gestell mi einer durchhängenden Matratze."

"Check in molto facile e veloce con il proprietario che mi ha fatto entrare prima delle 16, appartamento pulito, con una vista meravigliosa su Canneto, Panarea e Stromboli. Posizione strategica x muoversi anche con i mezzi pubblici. Cucina fornita di tutto, addirittura fornita con cialde per il caffè x tutta la settimana e 8 bottiglie di acqua. Anche ombrellone per la spiaggia. "

"The villa was beautiful and very clean , the host Daniela was kind and sweet, showed us the best places to go for good food also surprised us with a home made eggplant parmigiana and a bowl of fresh fruits. I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to have quiet but at the same time be close to the beach and restaurants."

"This is our third time at Mari del Sud in the past six years, and unfortunately, we’ve noticed it’s slowly declining. It’s a pity, because the resort has such great potential, so close to the sea and the beautiful Sabbie Nere beach and head a beautiful swimming pool. One major downside is the lack of a transfer service from the harbor to the hotel. We had the service during previous stays, and most hotels and resorts on the island of Vulcano still offer it. Although the receptionist said the hotel is walkable, I wouldn’t recommend it if you're traveling with elderly people, as I was. We ended up having to call a taxi for both directions, which cost €15 each way. Breakfast is good and the staff do their best, but the number of waiters is insufficient for the volume of guests. The swimming pool opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m., so if you're an early riser or looking to unwind after an excursion, it’s disappointing to find the pool closed. Housekeeping cleans the rooms daily, which is appreciated, though again the limited number of staff means your room might be serviced late in the day, often when you're back for a siesta. I really hope Mari del Sud will go back being the resort everybody used to love."

"I loved this property! Rooms were spacious and very clean. Beautiful pool area. The food at the pool bar was delicious and fresh! I wish we had eaten dinner at the hotel too. Breakfast was perfect with variety of choices. Staff were incredibly helpful and informative. I hope to return to Lipari and will stay here again for sure."

"Great location and views, however incredibly overcrowded communal areas during the day (pool oversubscribed, reception cluttered with early arrivals). The room was spacious however incredibly damp and humid, noticeable on every wall. Air-con was in the room but basically didn’t condition the rooms to the point where going outside in 28 degrees was more refreshing than being inside. Both nights sleep were terrible"

"It's hard to describe this hotel is like stepping into the 70s with so much charm. The restaurant was lovely for dinner watching the sunset. Breakfast was ok, a good choice of options. Walk to town was easy down driveway across volcanic rock beach and up a street on otherside, Then was quite flat to get around town centre. Water off the hotel is amazing, and pool warm and lovely. Rooms are definitely older style but space was good. We will be back, loved it with all of its quirks!"
