"Villa Modica is the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful holiday. We were a party of 9 adults and a 15 month old. The house and grounds gave wonderful space for everybody to be together and yet not in one another's way at all times. "Gaetano has done a superb job of converting a cave into a charming and comfortable residence with modern appliances. He was almost always available and helpful when we needed him. The apartment is near to a lovely piazza/park and good restaurants. Parking was always available.The only down side is the 45 steps up to the residence - a daily challenge for older legs."

"Nice place, clean, peaceful, good location, Had to park on the street, one of the two showers is outside, the en-suite w/c just has a curtain for privacy. The on site restaurant/bar pool was very nice, staff were nice but charged us 48 to use their pool for a couple of hours! So that’s the last time they saw me. There host claimed everything was paid for then later said it wasn’t, quite confusing. "
