Rockland Harbor Hotel
"I sustained an accident ( off property) on my first day and required hospitalization. The staff was so supportive. They cleaned my room and packed my things and actually dropped them off to me in the hospital."

Bridgeside Inn on peaceful Vinalhaven Island, Maine
"This is a rambling, welcoming old building that is perfect for a family stay. Check-in is smooth, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc, wi fi was good. I must say it is not what I would call an easy walk from the ferry, so older people, little kids, and people with heavier luggage should ..."
