"It was 2 stars for me, as a DFW local. The A/C sounded like a jet engine going all night, and the sheets are bleached within an inch of their lives and not aired out. If you are sensitive at all to sound and bleach fumes, you won't get much sleep. If you are stuck between sleeping at the airport and sleeping here though, I imagine it's better. They did have a makeup mirror and 1500 hair dryer in the bathroom, but only 2 small body towels. I'm a 5'5" 125 lb lady and I felt like a giant here. I could reach the ceilings in the hall. Ask for more towels. It took a while to figure out how to order room service. My advice is to eat outside the hotel. I was on a 2 hour zoom meeting, so I called in from the hotel phone (cell won't work and no online orders). I thought no one can mess up grilled cheese and cheesecake. Cheesecake was good. Grill cheese was limp lightly toasted bread and cold sliced cheese. $30. There's a ton of places to eat around there though! It tries to be clean and updated though. Might be the best showerhead I ever had at a hotel. But this place is still pretty sad, especially for a recent renovation. I didn't have time for the indoor pool, but it was central to the rooms and might be nice. Didn't see the outdoor pool. What can I say. I'm going back up there at the end of the month and going to stay at the Comfort Suites DFW N Grapevine instead. Similar price, much nicer rooms. All the people working there were friendly and I tipped well. Not their fault"

"Breakfast options were great. Quiet and comfortable hotel. Main area near front desk had heavy chorine odor from the enclosed pool and hot tub area. Did not impact our room which was away from the main lobby "

"Nice propert and room. Downside is the amount of mini bar items that are stocked in the room and fridge. Careful getting anything from the mini bar, our $36 worth of items had a final total of $67 after the additonal fees for using it were included. "

"We have stayed here several times when we are flying out of DFW the next day. Staff is very friendly...always. The shuttle bus is great about taking and picking us up from the airport. We feel our car is very safe, leaving on property while we are on our trip. Next time we are traveling, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you!"

"We got there on a Friday night check in was great, staff was great. The room we received on the other hand was not acceptable. One corner wall the paint looked like it had water damage behind it and and in the morning looked like it got worse. The bathroom door stuck and was hard to close and open. I asked for an extra pillow and since the hotel was sold out there were no extras. Looks like a family wedding was going on. We stepped into the elevator and it started moving without the door closing and we immediately got off. The next morning after seeing some small blood splatter on the bathroom door and wall I went to inform the front desk. Woman in the front was awesome and was able to have another room cleaned for us and got switched rooms. At that point I asked if I could also get some kind of financial reimbursement for all that was wrong. Since they switch us rooms I was told that was us being compensated. The room we switched to was better but the shade to the window was broken and did not go up and down at that point we just dealt with it and made the best of it. I spoke to the front desk on Monday morning when checking out and the woman at the front was very sweet and said she would speak to the manager when I asked again if there could be some kind of financial compensation. I asked if they could call or email if something can be done but I have not heard back by the end of day"
