"The staff member checking people in for the later shift was not friendly or welcoming. It seemed like he didn't want customers checking in... The Breakfast staff was awesome and friendly. Breakfast is your average hotel breakfast (Waffles, cereal, toast, eggs, sausage, yogurt, toast). They do keep it well stocked though. The hotel is a little older and shows some signs of its age. But overall for the cost it is a decent place to stay and we have stayed there before and would stay again. "

"We loved the pool the bed was comfy enough. I loved the blackout curtain, it worked perfectly. TV was nice and big and rotated. The bathroom toilet/tub space is tiny. The carpet felt rough. I called to request fresh towels and it took over three hours and a second call to the front desk to have fresh towels brought up. I suppose I could have gone to the front desk or accosted the cleaner cart... but didn't want to be rude."

"First notable item. When I walked up to check in at the front desk, there were 3 people in the room and no one was really acknowledging that I had even walked in the door. Finally, the person behind the desk asked if they could help. Another person was having a conversation with someone on a media system, and I couldn’t hear half of what the guy asked me. I got to my room everything seemed to be fine. I plugged in my phone charger and it didn’t work so I moved it to another outlet and that didn’t work. So then I made the assumption that my cord had gone bad. Ultimately, that wasn’t the case. Apparently everything on the wall next to the bed was not working. I decided to go to bed and watch some TV. I crawl into bed and on the wall next to the bed is a bloody booger that someone had left and had dried and had not been cleaned off. GROSS. 10:30 rolls around and the people above me, continued to make noise, jumping bouncing, dropping things on the floor. I picked up the phone to call the front desk and of course it’s on the same wall as the outlets and it doesn’t work. I look at my reservation and there is no phone number to call the front desk. So I have to call Motel 6 reservations. The friendly representative sent me a text with the front desk‘s number. I called the front desk and apparently they went upstairs and told the people to quiet down because at 11 o’clock at night, there was finally no noise coming from the room This is why I always go to ABB first. "

"Black Desert Resort exceeded my expectations. The setting is absolutely stunning, with unique lava rock and red cliff views you won’t find anywhere else. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable, and the amenities feel truly upscale. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is both relaxing and luxurious. Even while still expanding, it’s already an incredible place to stay. Highly recommend for a peaceful, high-end getaway near St. George!"
