We had to cut our visit in Cesky Krumlov short. We were supposed to sleep in Penzion Regina for 5 nights, but slept only 2 nights. Everything what we ask the women ,she answered not my problem. We told her we will have to leave. She gave us 2000 crowns = $100 dol.the experience was terrible.we were excited to be in Cesky Krumlov and see this beautiful city, but this bad experience made us to leave the city. Safety:the stairs might be problem for handicap or kids. We could not lock our door from inside. I called the # from their booklet, but the phone # Was not in service. I called The phone # found in Google unfortunately it was private # of the women we dealt with. She got upset about the phone call and said she is not coming back to fix our door. She said I live 5 km away from the place,I am not coming. I said sent someone who came help us. She refuse,so we had to try to figure out how to fix the doorlock .We finally figure out what is wrong and could go to sleep. Continue about The staff ,only 1 woman in charge we met was not helpful at all. We got room upstairs and when I saw the spiral steps I knew I will have to ask if there is available room dowstairsbad legs .It is long story i can explain more, but the final wanswered theviwomen

Our stay was short, but very pleasant. The room had everything we need. Lots of towels, kettle, welcome tea and coffee. The room was clean and the bed had comfortable mattress. We liked the breakfast and the attention of the staff. They were all nice and caring. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Česky Krumlov, and the area is marvellous with gorgeous fresh air and beautiful nature. What is also important, that there is a parking spot. We will definitely come back.

Staying at Pension Regina was a much-needed break from a tiring life, and in many ways, it was a peaceful and restful time. However, the bedding had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, and the odor clung to my pajamas after sleeping in them. The pillows were in such bad condition that we couldn’t use them at all. My husband and I ended up using small cushions instead, but our necks hurt the entire two nights we stayed. Although I didn’t mention it at the time because the owner and her son were very kind and welcoming, I hope these things can be improved for future guests. We also had to keep the window open for fresh air, but there were mosquitoes, and unfortunately, no mosquito repellent or coils were provided, so we had to go to the supermarket ourselves to buy some.

Quaint Pension with beautiful garden

Pension Regina was so cool and laid back. Beautiful and quiet garden on the pond. Food was fantastic and the young guy in the bar/dining, who seems to do absolutely everything, was so welcoming and relaxed. A smile never leaves his face. Don’t change a thing!
